I have grown up with dogs, first family pets, and then as my companions while being a competitive equestrian. I now live on a hobby farm here in the North Okanagan where my husband and I have horses, a variety of poultry, cats and three dogs, German Shepherds Whinny and Blitz, and an Australian Shepherd named Poppy. 

I have been privileged enough to be taking lessons from Karen Brearley at Longhaul Kennels since 2020, and entered the world of dog sports in 2022 with Whinny. Since then, we have competed in Rally Obedience and received our Rally Excellent title in September of 2023. 

I believe that all dogs can benefit from the experience of training and I’m looking forward to helping people build their relationships with their dogs. 

My goals for 2024 include competing in Rally Masters classes with Whinny, and expanding my knowledge and experience in the conformation ring with Blitz.

In my spare time I enjoy riding my horses, quilting, and doing puzzles.
